Quite technically, ye ole Fuhrer should be sleeping like a baby right now, ready to pop out of bed and hit the road with her lesbian lover, K8E. However, that's not the point of this little "intro" type news thing-a-ma-jig.
Over in the cast section, you'll see me now. I suppose that means that Jacob has finally managed to get me unglued from the remote. Probably not, as I've still got a crap load of Asian horror flicks to watch within my one lifetime.
Let's see... Oh, yeah, my rant...
If you saw my, "too many words not enough image," comic about the Fag-Light zombies, then you already know that I have seething hatred for Stephanie Meyer (whom I found out about two hours ago is a mormon). Allow me to say these two things to back up that hatred: Stephen King thinks she's a terrible writer and Anne Rice doesn't like her books. Anne Rice prefers to read the Sookie Stackhouse novels by Charlaine Harris. Which makes me happy because I'm gay for those books. Yes, I have HBO just for the show True Blood that is based on the Sookie Stackhouse novels, I prefer the books. They're not so focused on the hardcore sex thing as they are the blood and gore factor. Which is always an appeal to me.
Eh, but... It's 3 am. I'm going to go attempt that thing called sleep so I can go to Columbia in 6 hours and help Katie with her work for Jailbirds. And then I'm going to go to work. I'm a manager, believe it or not, at a movie theater. Hence my hatred for movie theater patrons and popcorn.
Oh, and contrary to popular belief, I am not a teenager. Yes, I know, I look like an eleventeen year old. I'm actually 22 going on 23 on Black Friday this year. No, I'm not single. I'm dating a guy named Woody (not his real name) who is a chef, was in the army, used to be my favorite bartender at my home-away-from-home Ground Zero, and is the bassist in the band Every Mans Enemy (they're on myspace). Go me.
Oh, and if my updates are few and far between its actually not all because of the whole Asian horror flick obsession. I have dual residency. While all my things are in my box of a bedroom at my mom and dad's crappy trailer in the middle of crack-town (No, really. Look, the place even has hookers that parade at the top of their street), I spend 99.5% of my time at Woody's apartment on the other side of town trying to explain to him that the reason his laptop gets crappy speed over the wireless is because he's using a wireless-n router while his laptop has a wireless-g card. Not rocket science, but he's refusing to believe me.
I've said enough. I hope this makes you happy, Jacob.

Well, I don't have a graphic or anything, but I would like to give Rec the brand new "Fucking Hardcore" medal.
I'm totally not making this update because while I have a comic drawn, I haven't even scanned it and I'm too tired from work to deal with it right now. No, that's not the case at all. Rec has officially earned the "Fucking Hardcore" status. Why?
Rec: Well, I have been now offically awake for 41 hours
Jacob Gunner: O_o
Rec: In this timespan I've had to write three papers, one 6 page and two 3 pages
Rec: I've had to create 12 sketchs
Jacob Gunner: Good lord man
Rec: and I spent 18 of these hours in classes
Rec: And all I've eaten in this time span is half a pizza and some cheese sticks.
Rec: Oh yeah, and in one of my classes I had to create a model of a landscape, on a computer that's Maya NEVER WORKS PROPERLY |

| There's a new comic up, if you can believe that we update consistently. We did the BlazBlue review, but none of us were satisfied with it, so we're re-doing it. I'll do the Gungrave anime review after we finish up with BlazBlue. |

| Dear Namco and Sony: I HATE YOU. |
 So Namco decides that Tales of Vesperia is going to get a PS3 release. OK, that's wise, Tales of Vesperia may have sold some XBox 360 consoles in Japan, but it's still not gaining any momentum over the PS3. |

| New look |
 So the site has a new, less blue look. A few layout changes, an incomplete new menu so the old is still there for now, hopefully content will start flowing in soon! A Gungrave review should be up relatively soon. |

So yeah, I went off the deep end again and forgot how to draw for a while. Took me a while to finally get a comic drawn. And we're still having trouble getting up our review content. And Top 10 content, because I almost have a Top 10 video done. Almost.
Anyway, for anyone actually checking in on the site, we (read: I) are (am) working on content. |

Been a while, hasn't it? So. Three new comics. Awesome, right? I think I'm getting the hang of this, just a little. I still want this to be in color but for now this'll do.
Anyway. As you may have noticed, a lot of the old articles are gone. In particular, the non-video reviews. This is because we're going to be re-structuring our review system. More info will come along as I feel like presenting it.
Also, a new feature will be coming to the site soon, called "The Coalition of Badasses" where we showcase badasses in the world of video games, anime, TV, movies, and comic books. Stay tuned! |
