I had some serious difficulties when I decided to take that break, and by that I mean my folder full of art got ruined at work when the ice cream delivery man put a bag of ice on the counter, and it leaked all over the place. I didn't want to resume uploading comics until I got some kind of foothold on them. When I post the next Now Loading comic I'll post a comparison between the ruined comic I tried to repair and the re-make. For now, enjoy a Paradox comic that was supposed to go up two weeks ago.
And why did Rec not update the content scroller for those comics he did?!
Time for another rant. I love comic books, I've been reading them ever since I was a kid and I got even more from dad who has been reading them since he was a kid. And I still love comics, but they've been doing something lately that's starting to piss me off.
They're going. too. fast.
What do I mean by that? Well, let's start off with my favorite super hero: Green Lantern. In 2004, a 6-part mini-series began called Green Lantern: Rebirth, which was going to bring the second, "Silver Age" Green Lantern, Hal Jordan back to the leading role, replacing Kyle Rayner. I actually liked Kyle's run as Green Lantern, but I was thrilled about seeing Hal Jordan return. Yeah, I've been slacking on comics. Unfortunate but I'm having to adapt to a new work schedule. I've moved up to Assistant Manager (Yes, it's true, I unfortunately do not own the store as I do in the comic) and well, working mornings requires adjustments, and working nearly constantly for training is taking its toll. I'm still working on comics but they're taking longer to do, so I might take a week or two off.
Ya know, I went to college. I learned all kinds of neat stuff. But I can't figure out HOW THE HELL TO GET FTP PROGRAMS TO WORK WITHOUT FINDING AN ACCIDENTAL WIN BUTTON!

Sorry, folks. The Now Loading comic will be delayed (again) this week due to the fact I just had to do a system wipe from a massive virus infestation. It'll probably be a while before I've got everything running again.
I'm sure you're all stunned beyond imagination. The struggle to actually get people to read this is a difficult one, but I just want to say, if anyone out there is reading my garbage on a regular basis, thank you. Hopefully soon we'll be rolling out more content as I come up with a new feature for the site covering old games that aren't remembered well.

I do have some Paradox comics done in advance, but I wanted to make a buffer zone since the one I'm working on now is taking a while. The disastrous week I had last week will be my excuse. Hey, at least there's a new Now Loading comic up, right? RIGHT?! STOP LOOKING AT ME LIKE THAT!
I don't know where the time went this week. Tuesday, the normal update day for the actual Now Loading comic, was a total disaster, and I'm just now catching up with everything. Mass Effect 2 has been beaten, and I intend to review it, I just dunno how I'm gonna review it. Wanna do video, but I haven't set up my new workstation yet, and it's kinda critical to getting videos done. New Paradox comic will come whenever I finally get my shit together.
How about that, the latest Paradox comic is the 60th "article" on the site. 41 Now Loading comics... 4 Paradox... 45 comics! That means that... only 15 articles on this site were not posted by me!
